 WBA is looking for two new board members. Read this article for a description of the positions.

WBA

 

The WBA is a non profit association, covering both civil and military aviation interests. The objective is to improve flight safety and to reduce the costs regarding all aspects of the bird / wildlife strike risk reduction to aviation.

 

WBA Board

 

WBA Board members conduct their duties on voluntarily basis or as part of their daily job and will not receive salary by the WBA. The Board of Directors consists of 6 members with 2 years term of office and might be re-elected for a maximum of three terms. The board consists of a President, Secretariat, Vice President Financial, Vice President Operations, Vice President Ecology and the Regional Vice Presidents.

 

WBA Vice President / Director Operations

 

Team player, takes responsibility, is innovative, active and looking for opportunities to achieve the goals of the WBA. Takes initiative and communicates effectively within the board as well as external. Has great motivation to reduce the risk for passengers and crew. Shows leadership and commitment. Willing to serve the full three terms of each two years. Is committed to act together with operational stakeholders. Has an adequate network.  Is for the area of operations the primary contact and responsible of the WBA board of directors.

 

WBA Vice President / Director Ecology

 

Team player, takes responsibility, is innovative, active and looking for opportunities to achieve the goals of the WBA. Takes initiative and communicates effectively within the board as well as external. Shows leadership and commitment. Willing to serve the full three terms of each two years. Is committed to act together with ecological and environmental stakeholders. Has an adequate network. Is for the area of ecology the primary contact and responsible of the WBA board of directors.
